Protein Butter Balls

These are a real hit over the holidays and don’t take any time to make. This is a very healthful sweet snack treat. You can make the balls bigger or smaller and you can add whatever you like to them. I doubled the recipe.


  • ¾ cup nut butter (unsalted)
  • ¼ cup unpasteurized honey
  • 1 scoop whey protein isolate protein powder
  • ½ cup raw unsalted pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup carob chips (sweetened with maltitol)


  • Mix the ingredients in a bowl with your hands and then form into 1 inch balls
  • Place on baking tray and refrigerate for a couple of hours
  • Transfer to a covered container and stored in the fridge
