Seventh Annual Cory Holly Classic 2023 Meet Summary
The weather was as good as it gets for track. Dry, hot and not a cloud in the sky. No smoke. Another beautiful summer day in the sunny Okanagan.
21 athletes from across BC and Alberta ranging in age from 10 to 94 attended the event. Special performances include 94-year-old Larry Chalmers in the Mens Throws Pentathlon, three brothers from Prince George, Nic, Matteo and Eric Scarpino, Andy White in the Javelin, Michael Deady who set a new BC record in the Mens discus M70 (42.19m) and Cory Holly who set a new BC record in the Mens hammer M65 (42.63m).
Simply Delicious Natural and Gourmet Market was on hand to generously provide free electrolyte drinks and information pertaining to wellness, alkaline water, natural health and performance. Thanks Karen for your participation and goodwill!
